Berlin Social Media Manager (German Speaking)

We are looking for aGerman-speaking Social Media Managerto join our growing team in Berlin.This role will also support our Influencer Marketing team but predominantly sit in our Community team.

The 1000heads Community team is a collective of social media obsessives, driven by the desire to deliver standout editorial and meaningful conversations for some of the world’s most exciting brands. You will work closely with specialists across Insights, Strategy, Creative and ClientServices to deliver social-first work that builds engaged, active communities.

You’rea social platform native, a sharp copywriter, and someone who thrives on the fast-paced nature of real-time engagement. Ifyou’repassionate about shaping brand voice, buildingcommunitiesand driving engagement, this role is for you.

This role also plays a part in our influencer and creator partnerships.You’llwork alongside our Relationships team to support influencer identification,outreachand campaign coordination where community and influencer work intersect.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day community activity across social platforms, including moderation,publishingand engagement
• Create and adapt compelling, platform-native copy in bothGerman and English
• Stimulate and sustain conversations with audiences, building meaningful relationships with communities
• Execute editorial calendars and support campaign rollouts across multiple channels
• Work closely with creative and strategy teams to ideate and brief engaging content
• Monitor conversations,identifytrendsand escalation issues whererequired
• Maintainhigh standardsof community engagement, including brand tone of voice and ethical considerations
• Support real-time and reactive social moments, including live event coverage where relevant
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to ongoing strategic thinking
• Track performance, contribute to reporting andprovideactionable insights
• Stay ahead of platform updates, culturaltrendsand emerging opportunities
• Support influencer and creator identification and outreach alongside the Relationships team
• Contribute to influencer campaign coordination, including timelines,approvalsand status updates where community and influencer activity intersect
• Build andmaintainrelationships with talent,agentsand creator networks relevant to community and social content
• Support new business efforts, including influencer and creator-related pitch material whererequired
• 2–4+years experiencein a Community Manager / Social Media role (agency experience preferred)
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to flex tone across platforms
• Deep understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.) and their nuances
• Experience with moderation, including escalation processes and customer-facing interactions
• Strongorganisationalskills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment
• Experience with social publishing and listening tools (e.g.Sprinklr,Khoros, Hootsuite) a plus
• Culturally aware,proactiveand always curious about trends and onlinebehaviour
• Understanding of influencer and creator culture and how it intersects with community and social content
• Comfortable supporting influencer and creator partnership activity alongside core community responsibilities
• Existing relationships with German influencers,creatorsor talent agencies (a plus)
