Beverage Technologist (m/f/d)

Your Role

You will develop innovative beverage applications with a strong focus on taste optimization and sugar reduction . The role supports R&T and flavor development teams by translating concepts into market-ready solutions, with a particular emphasis on fiber- and protein-enriched beverages .

• Develop and optimize beverage concepts and applications , from idea to prototype
• Design functional beverages , especially in sugar-reduced and better-for-you segments
• Apply and refine taste balancing solutions for optimal sensory performance
• Prepare and evaluate beverage systems, compounds, and emulsions
• Lead or contribute to R&T projects within defined research priorities
• Collaborate closely with flavorists and global application teams
• Act as a technical interface for customers , supporting trials and discussions
• Ensure proper documentation and sharing of results within the team

About You

• Master's degree in Beverage Technology, Food Technology, or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in beverage or food application development
  
• Strong sensory skills , with a good understanding of taste modulation
• Basic knowledge of functional ingredients (e.g. proteins, fibers)
• Hands-on mindset with practical lab experience in beverage systems
• Fluent in English; German is a plus or willingness to learn
• Team-oriented with good communication skills and curiosity to learn
