Bilingual Child Support Customer Service Representative 2

Stellenbeschreibung:

Establish and enforce child support obligations of responsible parents
Coordinate child support activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations
Communicate child support obligations and necessary information to ensure obligations are met
Communicate with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence, and direct contact
Obtain details and document detailed information
Perform other professional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
Report to the Child Support Customer Services Representative Supervisor
Support DCSS activities locating non-custodial parents, establishing paternity and support orders, enforcing and modifying support obligations, and collecting and distributing child support payments

Requirements

Must be fluent in both Spanish and English
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or high school diploma/GED and two (2) years of direct job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience at the lower-level Child Support Customer Services Representative 1 (SST090) or position equivalent
High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of direct job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Child Support Cust Svc Rep 1 (SST090) or position equivalent
May be subject to pre-employment drug screening, education verification, reference, motor vehicle records, and criminal background checks
Educational credentials must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE)
Must provide verified degrees, diplomas, and licensure where applicable
May be required to assist in meeting department emergency responsibilities as a term and condition of employment
