Biopharma Filtration Sales Specialist (d/f/m) - Jobbird.com

BP Filtration Sales Specialist (d/f/m) is responsible for supporting all relevant call points across Bioprocess where Filtration Consumables products are sold. The role provides expert product knowledge, training and support to Account Managers and works to generate sales from new and existing customers, evaluating a customer's process to identify solutions and providing the tools and support to obtain additional sales and identify new opportunities.

This position reports to the BP Zone Filtration Lead and is part of the Account/Direct Sales department based in Germany. The role is remote , covering the North/West region including Kiel, Hannover, Hamburg, Bremen, etc.

What you will do:

• Contribute information to sales strategies and account plans as part of the core account team.
• Focus primarily on Filtration Consumables opportunities and surrounding single use designs within their region; provide expert support to Account Managers and independently identify opportunities.
• Develop sales of modality solutions in the assigned region/territory, establishing long‑lasting technical customer relationships.
• Provide high‑level technical expertise during pre‑sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post‑sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional events.
• Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets; manage leads and prospects using customer relationship management software.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
• Several years of commercial experience, ideally within the biotechnology industry.
• In-depth expertise in filtration hardware and related consumables.
• Proven ability to drive cross‑selling, upselling, value positioning, and effective funnel management.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel – 40% travel, overnight, within territory.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
