Brand Activation Manager Germany (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of brand activation and communication initiatives in Germany, with a focus on Berlin, ensuring alignment with seasonal brand planning and strategic priorities
  • Lead seasonal pre-planning based on the concept map, including briefing and coordinating internal and external stakeholders such as agencies and cross-functional teams
  • Execute impactful brand activations including community initiatives, KOL collaborations, media partnerships, and pop-up experiences
  • Identify the most relevant channel and audience mix to translate cultural moments into strong and consistent brand storytelling
  • Define and track KPIs for all activations, analyze performance, and derive insights to continuously improve impact
  • Manage budgets for brand activation initiatives in alignment with European brand leadership, ensuring efficiency and transparency
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Brand, Marketing, and Communications to ensure alignment and consistency

Experience And Competencies

  • Passion for brand activation, storytelling, and the Birkenstock brand
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Brand Management, Marketing, or Communications, ideally within a lifestyle, fashion, or sneaker environment
  • Strong understanding of local media landscapes, communities, and cultural trends
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Structured, proactive, and hands-on with strong organizational and self-management abilities
  • Team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and work across functions
  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as German, French, or Spanish are a plus
  • High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), Keynote, and Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign and Acrobat)
  • Willingness to travel and participate in brand activations outside regular working hours when needed
