Brand & Creative Operations Manager (d/f/m) - 6 months fixed-term contract

This role is a 6 months fixed term contract in Munich or Berlin.

As a Brand & Creative Operations Manager, you will sit at the intersection of creative craft and operational excellence, connecting how our team dreams up ideas with how those ideas actually ship. You'll play a central role in both scaling our creative processes into a consistent, well-run system and finding new, smarter ways for the team to collaborate. As a senior voice shaping this discipline within Brand & Creative, you will help define what great creative operations looks like at Personio, and support the team as it grows from here.

You will build the workflows, tooling, and rituals that help designers and creatives move from brief to final asset with clarity and ease, while also acting as the connective tissue between Creative and the rest of the business: managing intake, capacity, and vendor relationships so the team can focus its energy on the work itself, not the logistics around it.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end operating model for Brand & Creative: intake, prioritization, resourcing, and delivery workflows
• Partner with Creative leadership to forecast capacity, spot bottlenecks, and rebalance workload across projects
• Manage and evolve the team's tool stack (e.g., project management, DAM/asset libraries, design tools) and support adoption across the team
• Design and run intake processes for creative requests from other teams (Marketing, Product, Comms, etc.)
• Build reporting/dashboards that give leadership visibility into throughput, timelines, and team health
• Facilitate planning cycles and cross-functional rituals so they run smoothly for everyone involved
• Manage vendor/agency relationships and support freelance onboarding where relevant
• Work with the team to spot and resolve process gaps before they become pain points

What You Need To Succeed

• 5+ years of experience in Design Ops, Creative Ops, or Program Management within a design/creative organization
• Experience supporting brand, marketing, or creative teams specifically
• Strong understanding of creative workflows, from brief to final asset
• Comfortable with tools like Jira/Airtable, DAM systems, and Figma or equivalent
• Strong stakeholder management skills; able to influence and align people without formal authority
• Experience creating systems and documentation that help teams work better together
• A clear, calm communicator who can translate between creative and operational priorities
• Nice to have: Background in a fast-growing or distributed company

At Personio, we value in-person collaboration while also offering flexibility. This role is office-based, with 2 days per week required in your contracted office location. The remaining days can be worked from home or in the office if you prefer. In addition, you’ll have 20 Flex Days per year to work remotely from other locations.
