SumUp's Brand and Marketing Design team is behind the visual identity that reached over 4 million small businesses across 37 markets, and right now we're in the thick of rolling that new identity out across every channel.
The team's focus is rolling that identity out across every channel, with motion as one of the main focuses: animated templates, a proper motion language, and consistent brand guidelines are a few of the many topics the new team member will support. Getting this right means faster, higher-quality animated content across campaigns, product, and employer brand, and a motion system that can scale as SumUp grows.
Create and adapt animated assets for campaigns, internal comms, events and day-to-day requests
Build and maintain a library of reusable animated templates across formats like social, ads and web
Organise and tag motion assets in Canto so the wider team can find and reuse them easily
Keep the motion section of the Brand Standards Portal up to date as guidelines evolve
Run lightweight quality checks on animated materials before they go live
Contribute animated content for employer brand channels, including LinkedIn and social media
A degree in graphic design, visual communication or motion design, with hands‑on experience in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
Working knowledge of Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator for collaborating with brand and product designers
Strong grasp of motion design fundamentals, including timing, easing, pacing, typography and composition
Comfort switching between fast, reactive creative requests and longer‑term projects like asset organisation
Genuine curiosity about brand strategy and a habit of asking why behind creative decisions, not just how
Be empowered to do more that matters.
