On behalf of our client, a major industrial services and facility management company based in Hamburg, we are looking for a Building Services Technician (m/f/d) as part of a temporary placement with the option of a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections, servicing and professional upkeep of all building services systems at the property under your care.
• Carry out the independent rectification of faults in heating, ventilation and plumbing systems reliably and proactively.
• Manage and supervise external service providers during maintenance work and carefully inspect the quality of their trade work.
• Conscientiously document all inspections and repairs directly in the digital system.
• Optimise the settings of the building services systems to achieve a sustainable reduction in the property’s energy and operating costs.
• Provide active support with general trade-related tasks and any relocation work required within the building.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship as a plant mechanic (m/f/d), electronics technician (m/f/d) or mechatronics technician (m/f/d), and where applicable, undertaken further training in this field.
• Sound professional experience in operational building services or technical facility management.
• Written and spoken German at a good to very good level.
• High degree of customer focus, flexibility and reliability.
• Strong team player, highly organised and able to work completely independently within your daily remit.
• Hold a valid work permit and permanent residence in Germany.
