Business Development Associate – ESG solutions

Location: Frankfurt – Hybrid

Required Languages (Fluent): English and German

We’re hiring for a global provider of independent investments insights, helping asset managers, asset owners and banks integrate sustainability into their investment and regulatory strategies. They’re looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Associate to support business growth across the DACH region.

The Role:

• Support pipeline generation byidentifying and qualifying new business opportunities across asset managers, asset owners, banks, and other financial institutions, working alongside experienced sales professionals.
• Conduct research-led prospecting and outreach campaigns to build and grow pipeline across the DACH region.
• Support account and territory planning activities to help prioritise target opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline reporting to support forecasting and sales operations.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Consulting, and Client Success teams, gaining hands‑on exposure to enterprise sales processes, ESG/regulatory solutions, and senior client engagement as part of a B2B sales career path.

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong prospecting, research, and lead generation skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive self-starter, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Genuine interest in ESG and sustainable finance.
• Fluent in German and English
• 3 - 5 years of experience in sales support, business development, inside sales, or a related commercial role.
