This is the job

As Business Development Director Manufacturing (f/m/x) , you drive new business growth within the Manufacturing sector across the DACH region. Your primary focus is hunting: acquiring new enterprise clients and opening new logos, complemented by the selective expansion of existing Manufacturing accounts. You own the end-to-end sales cycle from first outreach to contract signature, working closely with Consulting, Pre-Sales, and Delivery at local and global levels. You translate client challenges into high-impact, service-oriented IT solutions and confidently leverage nearshore delivery models. You proactively build and progress pipeline through targeted outreach and campaigns, and you lead structured pursuits through to closure.

This is you

• You are an enterprise sales professional with a hunter mindset and a proven ability to open and grow manufacturing accounts.
• You have a well-established network in the manufacturing industry across DACH.
• You proactively approach new clients, accurately identify their challenges, and stay motivated even when facing setbacks.
• You excel at selling IT services; you are tech-savvy and focus on delighting clients with service- and value-oriented solutions.
• You are confident working with nearshore delivery models and distributed teams.
• You have experience with tenders/RFIs/RFPs and negotiating with complex buying centers and procurement.
• You are empathetic, open-minded, and a clear, confident communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
• You work independently, are flexible, think outside the box, and act entrepreneurially.
• You are fluent in German and English for client-facing work.

• A strong network in the automotive and transport industry.

This is your role

• You drive new enterprise acquisition in the DACH manufacturing market and build, develop, and continuously qualify a strong, targeted pipeline.
• You plan, prepare, and execute lead-generation and outreach campaigns together with Marketing and Sales Development.
• You own and manage the complete sales cycle from discovery to contract closure in close collaboration with Consulting, Pre-Sales, and Delivery (local and global), orchestrating cross-functional teams throughout.
• You shape the solution and nearshore delivery approach (including SLAs and KPIs) to align with client needs and success metrics.
• You orchestrate RFI/RFP and proposal processes, ensuring high-quality, on-time submissions.
• You negotiate with complex buying centers and procurement; structure, negotiate, and close sustainable enterprise agreements.
• You manage your clients independently after acquisition and develop them strategically based on our comprehensive portfolio (selective farming, cross- and up-sell).
• You contribute to predictable and responsible revenue growth and accurate forecasting within the DACH market.
