Business Tech Specialist II – Financial Products

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, flow architecture design, and evolution plan for the integration and maintenance of payment systems (TEF, POS) with the Group's points of sale.
• Direct the governance of terminal certification/approval processes and the architecture of observability, telemetry, and operational KPI solutions for the area.
• Conduct complex investigations of structural systemic issues (RCA), defining permanent solutions to mitigate transactional risks and financial losses.
• Influence and align technical and product decisions across management, executive leadership, card schemes/arrangements, and third-party vendors.
• Promote product‑agile best practices, supporting teams in translating strategic visions into effective plans and breaking down initiatives into actionable deliverables.

Requirements

• Proven senior/specialist experience as a Business Tech Specialist, Solutions Architect, or similar role focused on transactional platforms.
• Deep expertise in physical payment flows: TEF topologies, communication with points of sale (POS), acquirer certifications, and POS/SmartPOS hardware.
• Track record of matrix technical leadership in large-scale projects or restructuring of high‑criticality payment platforms.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to independently mobilize collaborative networks.
