AURELIUS has grown significantly, especially internationally, and employs more than 400 people across 10 locations in Europe, North America and Asia.For a AURELIUS Wachstumskapital portfolio company in the B2C multi-site service business, AURELIUS is hiring a Buy & Build CEO, based anywhere in Germany. The CEO will hold overall strategic and operational responsibility for the portfolio company's entrepreneurial development, with a particular focus on M&A and post-merger integration. Key responsibilities include scaling the business nationally through add-on acquisitions ('buy-and-build') and integrating individual companies into the group; professionalizing the existing platform, including analyzing and improving underperforming locations and ensuring long-term retention or orderly succession of key personnel; owning P&L for the multi-site service business; driving competitiveness, profitability and sustainable value creation; and positioning and leading the company through an eventual exit process at the end of the holding period.Candidates should have several years of line and P&L responsibility in a people-intensive service business, ideally as CEO, COO, managing director or business-unit head, with experience in multi-site structures (branch/location networks, regions). A track record working with a financial investor (private equity) and/or in corporate acquisitions (M&A) and integration of business units (PMI) is required, along with several years of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm. Demonstrable expertise in systematic work on transformation projects, a strong grasp of key commercial, sales and operational-strategic topics, and the ability to introduce central management tools are essential. AURELIUS is looking for someone with strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent communication and stakeholder-management ability, entrepreneurial thinking, execution strength and cost awareness - someone able to see the big picture while also driving things hands-on. A successfully completed degree in business, science or engineering is required, along with high travel readiness and fluent German and English.
