A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Buyer (f/m/d), you will play a crucial role in supporting the cost‑effective sourcing of materials and services in alignment with company processes and customer requirements. Your typical day will involve executing procurement activities that ensure safety, quality, and on‑time delivery. You will serve as a reliable, service‑oriented procurement interface for various teams, including Order Winning, Operations, Project Management, Engineering, and Finance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Execute sourcing and purchasing activities to support cost competitiveness and reliable supply
• Support supplier negotiations and contract execution in alignment with established frameworks and guidelines
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation
• Monitor supplier performance regarding delivery, quality, and cost adherence
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, operations, and finance to meet project requirements
• Identify supply risks, elevate issues, and support mitigation actions as needed

What You Bring

• University degree in supply chain, business, or a related field
• Several years of experience in procurement of engineered products/services in a project environment
• Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management skills and good understanding of contract terms
• Customer‑focused, collaborative team player with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage
