CAD Technician or Mechanical CAD Designer (m/f/x)

We are looking to fill the position of Technical Draftsman / CAD Draftsman (m/f/d) as soon as possible—initially on a one-year fixed-term contract.

Creation and maintenance of 2D drawings and simple 3D models based on clearly defined design specifications
Derivation of part, assembly, and installation drawings from existing CAD models
Application and implementation of standards, tolerances, fits, surface finishes, and manufacturing specifications according to given requirements
Maintenance and updating of CAD data, drawing revisions, and related bills of materials
Support in processing and documenting design changes in accordance with internal approval processes
Support with technical documentation and the structured filing of drawings and CAD data
Obtaining quotations for sample and prototype parts based on clearly defined technical specifications

Completed technical training, e.g. as a Technical Drafter, Technical Product Designer, or a comparable qualification
Experience in creating and maintaining technical drawings in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical environment
Confident use of the 3D CAD system SolidWorks and good knowledge of deriving technical drawings
Knowledge of standards, tolerances, fits, surface finishes, and manufacturing specifications
Structured, accurate, and reliable working style
Strong technical understanding and the ability to accurately implement design specifications in drawings and documentation
Experience handling bills of materials, drawing revisions, and change management processes
