A Day in the Life

Collaborates with key stakeholders to coordinate, develop and execute clinical strategies to achieve short‑and‑long term business objectives within the region as it relates to ablation solutions activities and program. Drives execution of key CAS initiatives to achieve Group, OU and Regional level goals. Maximizes regional personnel performance by managing, developing and motivating clinical support employees to deliver unsurpassed patient care, physician/AHP support and technical expertise in the hospital and other care settings.

Travel requirement: up to 50% within the dedicated territory.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead all regional clinical support related activities and programs to efficiently optimize resources, deliver customer value and provide exceptional clinical guidance.
  • Partner with sales team to drive key clinical support initiatives and provide assessments via periodic business reviews that highlight the value of Medtronic ablation clinical support to customers.
  • Work with regional leadership to align resources based on business priorities and appropriate clinical support demands.
  • Lead and drive changes focused on strengthening EP acumen, prioritizing expanded EP ablation solutions to customers, and fostering customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with sales team and additional key stakeholders to coordinate and execute strategies to achieve ablation solution expansion business objectives.

People Management

  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to direct reports; conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Lead regional Clinical Specialists to execute on key goals and objectives.
  • Assist employees with goal setting, performance reviews and individual development planning.
  • Recruit and hire Clinical Specialists; maintain a strong, diverse bench of talent for future opportunities.

Sales Support

  • Understand national, regional and territory sales objectives and work in partnership with account managers and CAS Regional Manager to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Serve as effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.
  • Promote safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.

Business Operations

  • Oversee sales support, MPX reports, credentialing, expense management, data privacy and warranty credits.
  • Ensure efficient use of inventory, expenses and assets.

Technical / Clinical Support

  • Represent Medtronic CAS during ablation procedures to provide clinical guidance, technical assistance and customer engagement.
  • Respond to technical inquiries from customers and the team; research and support resolution of questions or issues.

Educational Support

  • Partner with education team and internal resources to facilitate and lead training of new and tenured field personnel.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on CAS products and procedures, including one‑on‑one training sessions, in‑service education programs, seminars and symposiums.
  • Support and provide training resources for hospital staff to conduct training for their personnel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within Electrophysiology (sales, clinical, etc.).
  • Management experience (sales, clinical, training, etc.).

U.S. Work Authorization & Sponsorship

Medtronic offers sponsorship exclusively for Principal‑level roles and above. Roles below Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and throughout employment.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary (U.S. excluding Puerto Rico): $130,000 – $140,000 USD. The base salary range applies across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific California locations. Compensation complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on experience, certification, market conditions and location.

In addition to base salary the position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) for exceeding goals.
