In this role you execute the defined commodity strategy to ensure timely availability of materials and services at optimal conditions. You will work closely with the Strategic Commodity Manager to translate sourcing plans into day-to-day procurement activities. You’ll analyze supplier quotations, manage RFQs, and lead price and condition negotiations to strengthen supplier relationships. Your work contributes to cost reduction and Total Cost of Ownership initiatives, within a collaborative, sustainability-minded organization.

• Execute the defined commodity and sourcing strategy on an operational level
• Handle day-to-day purchasing activities including scheduling and escalation management
• Request, analyze and compare supplier quotations
• Create RFQs and tender documents in close cooperation with Product Management, including coordination of technical and commercial specifications
• Prepare and conduct price and condition negotiations within defined limits
• Maintain and develop existing supplier relationships
• Support identification, evaluation and qualification of new suppliers
• Monitor delivery performance, quality and cost development
• Contribute to cost reduction and TCO optimization initiatives

• Completed commercial or technical education or relevant university degree
• Experience in procurement
• Initial experience in supplier negotiations and supplier management
• Basic understanding of cost structures and TCO concepts
• Very good English skills, written and spoken
• Confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems
