Responsibilities
- Responsible for the strategically important Hair Care category within the DACH Group Category Management
- Independent assortment and supplier management, including negotiating terms and conditions within your portfolio
- Definition, implementation, and communication of centrally managed purchasing and product strategies; serve as central interface within the company
- Independent execution, preparation, and follow-up of supplier meetings, including annual negotiations
- Budget responsibility: evaluate and manage regular product launches both online and in-store
- Regular analysis of assortment-relevant KPIs of new and existing suppliers, identification of market potential for the category, and channel-specific translation of company goals
- Planning, implementation, and evaluation of sales-supporting marketing measures and seasonal sales campaigns
- National and international market and trend monitoring, competitive analysis, prepare corresponding reports and derive measures – working closely with international stakeholders
Qualifications
- Completed a degree in business administration or equivalent with relevant professional experience
- Preferably several years of experience in category management, purchasing, sales, retail, or industry; experience in the beauty sector is a plus
- Strong negotiation skills and confident demeanor
- Entrepreneurial and proactive thinking and acting
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP desirable
- Affinity for analytical work and comfortable with complex analyses
- Fluent German and English skills
