Category Manager - Food & Beverages

For our Food & Beverages team, we are looking for a Category Manager who is commercial, data-driven, entrepreneurial, and excited to help shape a fast-growing E-commerce business from the ground up. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants real ownership, strong exposure, and the chance to directly influence assortment, supplier partnerships, and category growth in a dynamic international environment. What you will do

• Helping shape the future of Joybuy’s Food & Beverages offering in a high-growth international environment
• Building new categories and expanding existing ones to create the best possible assortment for our customers
• Defining negotiation strategies and leading supplier negotiations from first conversation to signed agreement
• Building strong supplier partnerships while securing competitive commercial conditions
• Developing deep category knowledge through data, customer insights, market trends, and supplier input
• Identifying commercial opportunities and turning them into pragmatic plans that improve assortment, performance, and profitability
• Working closely with marketing to increase product visibility through campaigns, banners, and promotional activations
• Collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as supply chain to improve availability, product quality, and the overall customer proposition

About you:

• A bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Experience as a Buyer, Category Manager, or Key Account Manager, preferably in food, FMCG, or e-commerce
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence in supplier negotiations
• The ability to assess opportunities quickly and understand what matters at the negotiation table
• An entrepreneurial mindset with lots of energy, persistence, and ownership
• The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills
