Our client is an internationally operating manufacturer of sustainable industrial packaging solutions and part of a successful global group. The company develops and manufactures innovative paperbased transport and protective packaging for customers across various industrial sectors, including automotive, logistics, engineering, and furniture.

Due to a succession plan, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial "Managing Director / CEO (m/f/d)" to lead the German organization.

Your Responsibili.es

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the German business.
• Drive profitable growth through sales development and market expansion.
• Develop and implement business strategies aligned with the Group's objectives.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of approximately 55 employees.
• Ensure operational excellence by optimizing processes and organizational structures.
• Take full responsibility for budgeting, financial performance, and KPI achievement.
• Strengthen customer relationships and expand the company's market presence.
• Report directly to the Group CEO and work closely with international stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification combined with relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as Managing Director, General Manager, or in a comparable executive leadership position within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in the packaging, paper, corrugated board, converting, or related industries.
• Proven track record in sales leadership, business development, and strategic growth.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and driving organizational change.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
