Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Certification Engineer with strong expertise in embedded software and DO-178B/C processes to support aerospace certification activities. The selected candidate will initially work onsite at Everett, WA facility for the first month and transition to a remote role thereafter. This role requires deep knowledge of FAA/EASA certification, software lifecycle documentation, and DER support, along with hands‑on experience in embedded software analysis and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Embedded Software Engineering
  • Perform detailed analysis of embedded software including:
    • Memory management (dynamic/static memory, memory leaks)
    • Object code analysis
    • Watchdog timers
    • Hardware/software partitioning
    • Dead code and deactivated code analysis
• Software Testing & Verification (DO-178B/C)
  • Develop and execute embedded software testing strategies
  • Conduct:
    • Unit testing
    • Hardware-Software Integration Testing
    • Software-Software Integration Testing
