Certifying Staff B1/B2

Role Overview

As a Certifying Staff B1/B2 at Vista Aircraft Maintenance, you will support aircraft safety and airworthiness by carrying out and certifying maintenance activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and releasing aircraft to service in compliance with EASA regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and servicing of our business jet fleet as part of line & base maintenance
• Execution of work on components and systems of airframe, structure and engines or on avionics components as well as signal and data lines
• Functionality check of all systems as well as replacement of defect components
• Troubleshooting and initiation of required corrective actions
• Independent preparation, execution, follow‑up and documentation of all work carried out in compliance with airworthiness and current air law regulations and requirements
• Testing and release of aircraft in compliance with current air law regulations and within the specified internal qualification
• AOG support and willingness to travel abroad

Qualifications & Experience

• EASA Part-66 CAT-B1 aircraft mechanic license plus several years of practical experience; additional B2 license is beneficial
• Fluent in written & spoken English; knowledge of German is an advantage
• Confident using aircraft manuals as well as MRO-software
• Work independently and be resilient, reliable, flexible and able to work in a team
• Valid driver’s license
