About The Opportunity

EvolveTalent® is supporting an established international company in the electrical infrastructure and power management industry in identifying an experienced Channel Manager for its business across Germany and Switzerland.

This is an opportunity for an accomplished sales professional with a strong background in electrical infrastructure, distribution channels, and strategic account management to take ownership of important commercial partnerships and contribute to continued business growth.

The position combines strategic account development, technical product understanding, and relationship management within an international business environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with key distribution partners and channel accounts across Germany and Switzerland.
• Take ownership of an established portfolio of strategic accounts, including customers operating through multiple branches and locations.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive sustainable revenue growth within existing and potential channel partnerships.
• Develop and implement account strategies aligned with business objectives and market priorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, purchasing teams and technical stakeholders.
• Promote a broad portfolio of electrical infrastructure solutions, including power distribution and control, wire management, mechanical support and industrial lighting.
• Collaborate with internal sales, product management and technical teams to develop customer-oriented solutions.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activities and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contribute to long-term customer partnerships.
• Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to maintain close relationships with customers and distribution partners.

Your Profile

• Extensive professional experience in B2B sales, channel management, distribution sales, or strategic key account management, ideally around 10 years or more.
• Strong background in the electrical industry, particularly electrical distribution, power management, industrial electrical products, or related infrastructure solutions.
• Proven experience developing and managing relationships with electrical distributors, wholesalers, or strategic channel partners.
• Good technical understanding of relevant electrical products, such as panelboards, switches, disconnectors, control stations or cable management systems.
• Experience in industrial infrastructure, utilities, energy, data centres, commercial construction or related sectors would be advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex customer relationships independently.
• A relevant technical or commercial qualification is beneficial; equivalent professional experience is also welcome.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent German and professional working proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Germany and Switzerland.
• A proactive, independent and results-oriented working style.
