This position is a critical replacement, essential for maintaining business continuity for vital ERP solutions in our global factories and is pivotal to the success of our ongoing S/4 transformation. To address these objectives, the role is structured around three core areas: leading and developing the specialized ERP team, ensuring the stability and performance of current manufacturing and quality systems, and driving the strategic transition to S/4HANA. This approach balances immediate operational needs with long‑term transformation goals. Given the focus on team leadership and complex system oversight, the ideal candidate will possess proven management experience within an IT context, coupled with deep functional and technical knowledge of ERP systems, particularly in manufacturing and quality processes. Experience in large‑scale transformation projects like S/4HANA is also a key requirement.

40% Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of experienced ERP professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage team resources, including capacity planning, task allocation, and budget oversight, to meet both operational demands and project milestones.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and support the career development of team members.
• Act as a point of escalation for the team and influence stakeholders outside of the immediate job area on policies and procedures.

30% ERP Service Delivery & Operations

• Ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of critical ERP solutions for manufacturing and quality business functions across global factories.
• Oversee IT service management processes (incident, problem, change) in line with ITIL best practices to minimize business disruption.
• Serve as the primary IT contact for business stakeholders in the manufacturing and quality domains, managing expectations and ensuring service levels are met.

30% S/4 Transformation & Strategic Initiatives

• Drive the planning and execution of the S/4HANA transformation for the Manufacturing and Quality process streams.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business partners, and project managers to define requirements and deliver solutions aligned with the strategic IT roadmap.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to support the automation and continuous improvement of ERP processes.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive professional experience in IT, with a strong focus on ERP systems (preferably SAP) in manufacturing and quality domains (e.g., SAP PP, QM).
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role, with responsibility for guiding and developing technical teams.
• Demonstrable experience participating in or leading large-scale IT transformation projects, such as an S/4HANA migration.
