MacGregor Black is conducting a confidential retained search for a Chief Commercial Officer – EMEA on behalf of a Sports & Outdoor brand entering its next phase of growth.

This is an opportunity to shape the commercial future of a brand with significant headroom across digital, wholesale and marketplace channels. We are seeking a proven eCommerce and D2C winner — a commercial leader who understands how to build momentum online while strategically elevating B2B partnerships and building community impact.

Key Responsibilities

As CCO, you will own and integrate the full commercial agenda:

Architect and accelerate a high-growth D2C and eCommerce strategy
Lead and optimise wholesale/B2B performance across key markets
Align commercial execution with brand, marketing and consumer strategy
Build a high-performing, cross-functional commercial organisation
Deliver sustainable revenue, margin and market share growth

You will bring clarity, pace and accountability — balancing innovation with operational excellence.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking to engage senior commercial leaders (Senior Director, VP, SVP, C‑Suite, VPGM) who have:

Delivered significant D2C and eCommerce growth within Sports, Outdoor or Lifestyle — particularly footwear and/or apparel
Demonstrated full P&L ownership and multi-channel leadershipStrategically led B2B alongside digital acceleration
Deep consumer‑centric insight and the ability to translate it into channel execution
The credibility and gravitas to influence at Board and Investor level whilst inspiring teams
