Chief Engineer - Vehicle Dynamics Controls

Executive role leading intelligent vehicle dynamics at Huawei Munich, driving advanced control architectures and sensor/actuator innovation for autonomous and electric vehicles. You will steer R&D programs, roadmaps, and international collaboration to strengthen core vehicle performance. This position blends hands-on leadership with strategic technology forecasting in a global research context. • Lead R&D projects on advanced control architectures (collaborative, domain, AI control) for x-by-wire actuators and novel sensors
• Develop mid-to-long-term technology roadmaps and industry insights reports
• Foster academic and industry cooperation across Europe and leverage German automotive expertise
• Collaborate with HQ executives to define vehicle performance strategy and emphasize intelligent vehicle control
• Manage daily team activities, talent development, and project delivery within an international setting

• Master in Automotive Engineering, Control Systems, or related field; specialization in vehicle dynamics or control theory
• 15+ years of experience in developing control systems for vehicle dynamics or related automotive systems
• Proven technical leadership and engineering management with successful deliveries
• Excellent communication and ability to meet commitments under pressure and tight deadlines
• Team player with international work experience; fluent in English; willingness to travel to China ~20%
