Chief Financial Officer, Fractional CFO

Responsibilities

• Step in as the fractional CFO/Controller for a dedicated roster of up to 30 clients (gross revenues mostly under $10MM).
• Analyze financials to spot trends and risks.
• Fix messy data in collaboration with bookkeepers.
• Deliver hard truths to the business owner with a mix of radical candor and humor.

Requirements

• A strong financial/accounting background with a relevant business degree (emphasis in accounting/finance strongly preferred).
• Hands-on experience advising under-capitalized small business owners who aren't financially literate.
• Must be able to explain complex FP&A data in plain English.
• A massive bias for growth (you know you can’t cost-cut an entrepreneur to prosperity).
• High emotional intelligence.
• Confidence to hold clients accountable to their own goals.
