We are currently exclusively, and confidentially, representing one of our best clients on their search for a new Chief Information Officer to join their IT hub in Münich.

The business are about to embark on a greenfield S/4HANA implementation, which is the main measure of success for this individual and the main driver behind making the hire.

The company is an international manufacturing business, operating in 50+ countries with 10,000+ employees.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver overall IT strategy for the global business, with a main focus on the delivery of their global Greenfield S/4HANA implementation
• Lead a large scale global IT function split across 5 countries
• Drive standardisation of global platform footprint
• Engage and manage a number of external vendors and delivery partners
• Take ownership of IT budget, including hiring, system investment and project delivery
• Improve executive governance and adoption of new technologies

Required Experience:

• Experience working in a large, global organisation, ideally within the manufacturing industry
• Held a CIO level position, or similar, for several years
• Experience leading multiple S/4HANA transformations in global businesses
• Experience leading global delivery teams
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic advisory experience
• Fluent English is required, strong German skills are a big advantage
