Chief Project Manager (m/f/d)

In this role you will lead wheeled excavator projects from concept to closure, coordinating cross-functional teams to hit milestones while managing budget, risks, and scope. You will ensure quality and safety compliance and represent projects to steering committees. You join a diverse, international Vehicle Engineering team focused on innovative, reliable solutions that improve productivity and safety. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear impact on product development and company transformation.

• Lead wheeled excavator projects end-to-end from concept to closure
• Set milestones and adapt plans with cross-functional teams
• Manage budget, risks, resources, and scope
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, and aftermarket
• Ensure quality and safety compliance in coordination with Product Safety
• Represent projects in steering committees and decision gates

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years experience in leading complex projects
• Proven record of iterative, milestone-driven project delivery
• Strong facilitator, comfortable driving iterative, cross-functional collaboration
• Technical know-how in vehicle hardware development is a strong merit
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
• Fluent in German and English
