Civils QA Inspector X4 – Munich, Hamburg, Berlin and Frankfurt

Overview

Fuel Recruitment is working with a leading telecommunications infrastructure organisation supporting large-scale hyperscale projects. They are looking for a Civils QA Inspector to join their team in various locations across Germany, ensuring high standards across civils works delivery. This role is focused on quality assurance, compliance, and safety throughout construction and reinstatement activities.

Opportunities are open to candidates already based in Germany, as well as those willing to relocate and obtain residency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of ducting, chambers, and reinstatement works in line with specifications and local regulations
• Ensure all civils activities meet required standards for durability, alignment, and safety
• Monitor progress and quality of works against programme timelines and budget forecasts
• Confirm contractor adherence to approved excavation, reinstatement, and traffic management methods
• Review and validate contractor documentation, including invoices, build claims, and measurement sheets
• Perform Health & Safety audits and ensure compliance with statutory and QA standards
• Liaise with local authorities on road openings, reinstatement, and defect resolution
• Maintain accurate inspection records, measurement logs, and compliance reports

Key Skills / Experience

• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering practices, particularly within underground networks
• Proven experience in road opening, reinstatement, and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with GIS systems for network mapping
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a civils inspection or related role
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements within construction environments
• Excellent project planning, coordination, and communication skills
• Full clean driving licence
• Ability to identify issues and recommend effective remedial actions
