MISSION

At STAN, Client Directors are trusted advisors - not traditional account managers. They lead senior client relationships, shape strategic conversations, anticipate opportunities before they arise and ensure every interaction reflects the quality, ambition and thinking that defines STAN. They own client success end-to-end while actively contributing to strategy, commercial growth and exceptional creative work.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Leadership & Strategic Partnership

• Become the trusted advisor for senior clients, building relationships that extend far beyond individual projects.
• Take complete ownership of the health, growth and success of your client portfolio, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and every engagement delivers exceptional value.
• Anticipate client needs, business challenges and opportunities before they are identified by the client themselves.
• Confidently advise CEOs, founders, CMOs and senior leadership teams on business strategy, brand transformation, cultural relevance, innovation, partnerships and growth.Lead strategic conversations, facilitate workshops and navigate complex stakeholder discussions with confidence and clarity.

Strategic Consulting

• Develop strategic narratives, positioning, cultural platforms and growth strategies that create long-term business impact.
• Translate complex business challenges into clear strategic recommendations and actionable solutions.
• Write strategy, sharpen messaging, improve presentations and actively challenge thinking to elevate every piece of work.
• Partner closely with STAN Founders, New Business, Strategy, Creative, Production, Social and AI teams to turn strategic thinking into outstanding execution.
• Connect ideas, industries and opportunities in unexpected ways to create strategic advantage for clients.

Client Success & Quality

• Take full ownership of the client relationship from strategic direction through final delivery.
• Act as the quality gate across all client work, ensuring every deliverable reflects STAN's creative standards.
• Continuously challenge ideas, refine outputs and raise the level of thinking across teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered with excellence, consistency and attention to detail.

Business Growth

• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through new engagements, strategic partnerships and long-term retainers.
• Develop commercial proposals, scopes of work and strategic recommendations that create value for both clients and STAN.
• Build trusted relationships that naturally lead to repeat business and referrals.

Relationship Development

• Build long-term partnerships founded on trust, credibility and exceptional service.
• Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and create lasting collaborations.
• Become a valued extension of your clients' teams through proactive thinking, reliability and strategic leadership.
• Represent STAN confidently across client meetings, workshops, international presentations and industry events.

Leadership

• Lead multidisciplinary teams with empathy, clarity and high standards.
• Inspire and mentor colleagues while creating an environment where great work can thrive.
• Take ownership rather than coordination - leading by example and contributing directly to strategic and creative output.

YOUR PROFILE

Strategic Leader

• Typically 8+ years of experience in a leading creative agency, brand, innovation or strategic consultancy, with significant experience advising senior clients and leading multidisciplinary engagements.
• Extensive experience leading international client relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of business strategy, brand transformation, cultural strategy, innovation, experience design and integrated communications.
• Proven ability to translate complex business and brand challenges into clear strategic recommendations and confidently present them to senior decision-makers.

Hands-on Consultant

• You don't simply coordinate specialists, you actively contribute to the work yourself.
• You can write strategy, improve presentations, facilitate workshops, sharpen messaging and challenge thinking.
• You combine strategic excellence with commercial understanding and exceptional execution.

• Exceptional written and spoken English at native or near-native level is essential. Additional languages such as German, French or Arabic are a plus.
• Experience or interest in our fast growing Women's Health portfolio is a plus.

Availability

• Based in Europe (Paris, London, Stuttgart, Berlin) or the United States (New York or Los Angeles).
• Available to start on a freelance basis, with the ambition to transition into a permanent role over time.
