Client Executive Global Accounts - EMEA (m/f/d)

Job Summary

As a Client Executive, you are a part of the German Global Account team and will drive sales strategy, customer growth, and executive engagement focusing on Volkswagen and Deutsche Telekom across EMEA outside of Germany. You will lead complex cross-border opportunities, align internal and external stakeholders, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while working closely with the Volkswagen and Deutsche Telekom account team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans for Volkswagen and Deutsche Telekom across EMEA outside Germany to drive growth, retention, and strategic relevance.
• Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, business stakeholders, IT decision-makers, and partners.
• Identify, qualify, and manage complex opportunities across the full sales cycle.
• Work with virtual account teams across sales, pre-sales, consulting, partners, and leadership to deliver business-outcome-driven solutions.
• Manage parallel sales motions across countries and business units with strong prioritization and forecast discipline.
• Drive growth in automotive and telecommunications through cross-sell, up-sell, and transformation opportunities.
• Lead partner co-selling motions and strengthen the ecosystem supporting customer success.

Job Requirements

• Multiple years of applicable enterprise sales experience in data center technologies, ideally with expertise in enterprise storage, infrastructure solutions, hybrid cloud architecture, and related IT platforms.
• Proven success managing strategic enterprise accounts and delivering growth in complex sales environments.
• Deep understanding of modern data center architecture, including storage, compute, networking, virtualization, and hybrid cloud solutions. Proven experience positioning infrastructure solutions and technical challenges within large enterprises especially regarding AI workloads.
• Experience working for or closely collaborating with a major U.S.-headquartered IT vendor. Ability to effectively navigate global matrix organizations, being comfortable with US work culture and expectations as well as align customer strategies with vendor ecosystems.
• Strong ability to build trusted relationships at C-level and senior management level.
• Expertise in account planning, opportunity management, negotiation, and closing complex deals.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across international, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills in multicultural environments.
• Industry knowledge of large enterprise structures in automotive and telecommunications is a plus.
• Fluency in German and English is required. Additional language skills are considered as a plus.
