Cloud DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) who will contribute to the design, delivery, and continuous evolution of a highly complex, global cloud environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, automate, and operate cloud solutions at enterprise scale

• Drive innovation through AI‑enabled and advanced cloud architectures

• Manage and troubleshoot the full FDT cloud platform, ensuring stability and performance

• Implement customer and internal projects, including technical solutioning and proposal preparation

• Design and architect new cloud platforms, patterns, and reference architectures

• Continuously improve services, processes, and operational models in a complex, multi‑cloud environment

• Act as a trusted advisor for the consulting, planning, and implementation of advanced cloud technologies

Your qualifications:

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

• Extensive hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, including the design and deployment of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and enterprise‑grade network architectures

• Strong background in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with proven experience using Terraform

• Demonstrated ability to modernize and optimize existing cloud infrastructures through automation and standardization

• Proficiency in automation and scripting technologies such as PowerShell, ARM, Bicep, and preferably Python

• Experience supporting multiple teams and stakeholders with DevOps practices and tooling

• Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, compliance controls, and policy frameworks

• Good knowledge of project management principles and requirements engineering

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as a collaborative working style with excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently in international, cross‑functional environments

• Fluent English skills (spoken and written), good German skills are an advantage
