Job Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer (AWS) with 0–4 years of experience to join our growing cloud engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency. Candidates with exposure to multi-cloud environments (GCP/Azure) and a basic understanding of geospatial or AI/ML workloads will have an added advantage, though this is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure for client and internal projects.
• Automate infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure performance, availability, security, and cost optimization.
• Ensure AWS environments follow best security practices and comply with regulatory standards.
• Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Assist with cloud solutions on GCP and Azure when required.
• Support cloud infrastructure for GIS-based applications and AI/ML model deployments in collaboration with data teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 0–4 years of hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with AWS SageMaker is a plus.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Good understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Basic knowledge of GCP and Azure.
• Exposure to AI/ML workloads on cloud platforms.
• Experience with geospatial data or GIS infrastructure.
• AWS Certifications (Associate or Professional level).
