Genesys

Cloud Security & Audit Solution Architect

Stellenbeschreibung:

Be the one building AI-powered experiences where they matter most.

At Genesys, we help organizations create better customer experiences through AI-powered experience orchestration. Our platform connects people, systems, data and AI to help organizations deliver more personalized service, improve operational efficiency and build stronger customer relationships.

Help build, support and operate technology used by more than 8,000 organizations in over 100 countries—moving AI from possibility to production in real-world enterprise environments every day.

The Genesys Global Security, Privacy & Compliance Centre of Excellence (COE SPC) provides expert security advisory services to Sales, Pre‑sales, Customers, and Partners. The team is the single point of contact for all security, privacy, and compliance‑related field engagements within the Genesys Cloud Business Unit.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Security expert to act as the Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Genesys Cloud customer assessments, audits and evidence-related engagements within the COE SPC team for global engagements. This is a hands‑on technical security role, not a compliance or GRC position. We are looking for a security engineer who can deeply understand systems, analyse technical evidence, and confidently defend it with highly technical security and audit stakeholders.

You will apply your expertise in security controls to Genesys Cloud services during customer audits, clearly articulating and defending our security, privacy, and compliance posture. This includes explaining controls and presenting evidence in complex discussions with security and compliance teams.

You will build strong knowledge of Genesys Cloud AI capabilities and their security and compliance considerations, respond to security inquiries, and act as the internal escalation point for these discussions.

The role requires deep technical credibility, strong evidence‑handling discipline, and the ability to translate complex controls into clear, defensible audit narratives. You should be comfortable in high‑pressure customer environments, managing competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Fluency in both English and German is required.

Key Responsibilities

COE Security & Cloud SME

  • Act as the primary technical SME for Genesys Cloud customer audits
  • Serve as the internal escalation point for penetration testing‑related discussions.
  • Lead advanced technical discussions with customers, prospects, partners, and auditors.
  • Defend Genesys Cloud AI security, privacy, and compliance using technical evidence.

Security Controls & Technical Deep Dives

  • Demonstrate control‑level understanding across frameworks (SOC 2, PCI, etc.).
  • Generate and validate evidence showing how Genesys Cloud security controls are implemented (IAM, encryption, key management, network segmentation, logging, monitoring, detection and response, incident management, web security, AI security, SDLC).
  • Interpret and present technical evidence (logs, configurations, architecture diagrams, policies, automation artefacts) for audits and assessments.
  • Translate compliance requirements into clear technical explanations of control operation.
  • Support audits, deep security reviews, and penetration testing discussions.
  • Translate risk into clear, defensible statements on control effectiveness.

General Requirements

  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud security and SaaS shared responsibility models.
  • Ability to discuss cloud‑native architectures, distributed systems, and DevSecOps controls from an implementation perspective.
  • Understanding of AI security trends and emerging cloud threats.

This Role Offers

  • A highly technical, customer‑facing SME role in a global COE team.
  • Close collaboration with Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams.
  • High autonomy in a trust‑based environment.
  • Exposure to complex enterprise environments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as an auditee delivering evidence in compliance attestation presentations.
  • Experience in IAM, network security, encryption, key management, logging, auditing, and monitoring in cloud environments and architecture.
  • Ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and business audiences as a security subject matter expert.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Awareness of AI security risks and AI governance.
  • Fluency in both English and German.

Nice to Have Qualifications

  • Experience with TLPT as defined by DORA.
  • Experience designing, discussing, defending pen testing findings and remediation approaches.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and security automation.
  • CISSP, CCSP, or similar certification.
