Co-Team Lead – Senior Developer, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Vienna

• Work on the Teambox product in close collaboration with Design, Product, Operations and Customer Success


• Spend ~70% of your time hands-on coding and support the Team Lead in leading a team of 6 developers


• Think holistically about features and translate requirements into manageable tasks


• Plan sprints, define priorities and capacities, and convert the product roadmap into actionable increments


• Support technical leadership, collaboration and knowledge sharing within the development team


• Accompany code reviews and validate architectural decisions together with the Lead


• Continuously improve code quality, the tech stack and documentation


• Implement in product-critical areas and work on complex technical topics


• Ensure clean interfaces and robust solutions


• Own stable and secure releases


• Support troubleshooting across CI/CD pipelines and improve build, test and deployment processes


• Monitor performance and stability, analyze incidents and error patterns, and derive sustainable improvements


• Improve monitoring and logging where relevant


• Work with Design, Product and Customer Success in short feedback loops


• Promote data- and user-centered decision making

Requirements

• Ideally first experience in providing technical support or partial leadership of developer teams, e.g. 1:1s, feedback, employee development and conflict resolution


• Ideally experience in deliberately using AI from the start as a driver in the development process


• Experience with agile development, e.g. Scrum or pragmatically applied agile processes


• Ability to translate roadmaps into realistic, actionable increments


• Ideally experience with an established SaaS product on the market


• Solid programming experience, ideally with PHP, TypeScript (React) and MariaDB


• Maintainable and well-thought-out code with healthy pragmatism


• Routine with automated testing as well as Continuous Integration/Delivery


• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs


• Basic knowledge of working with Linux servers and container-based setups


• Willingness and ability to develop further and to try new technologies in a reflective way


• Clear and constructive communication and team orientation


• Very good German and English, spoken and written
