Collaborating Psychiatrist for Indiana Counseling Practice

Overview

We are an established counseling practice in Northwest Indiana seeking a licensed psychiatrist to serve as a collaborating physician for our team. Our practice is expanding to include 1-2 mental health nurse practitioners (NPs) in the coming months. The ideal candidate will have a specialty in psychiatry and be ready to collaborate within 1-3 months. This full-time position involves working with NPs who will be prescribing Schedule II medications, including opioids and ADHD medications such as Adderall and Ritalin. The practice operates in a hybrid model, offering both in-person and telemedicine services to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as collaborating physician for the practice's team of mental health clinicians.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners who will be prescribing Schedule II medications (including opioids and ADHD medications such as Adderall and Ritalin).
• Provide patient care in a hybrid model (in-person and telemedicine).

Qualifications

• Licensed psychiatrist with a specialty in psychiatry.
• Willingness to collaborate with NPs within 1-3 months for full-time coverage.
