Commissioning Engineer HVAC/Mechanical (m/f/d)

In this role you will act as the single point of contact for HVAC and utilities commissioning within Exyte’s Quality & Commissioning team. You’ll plan and manage commissioning across project phases, ensuring safety and compliance. You will tackle system breakdown planning and coordinate issue and punch lists to drive on-time closure. The position leverages your hands-on MEP commissioning experience in data centers to safeguard performance and project success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, safe facilities.

• Act as POC for HVAC and utilities commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with PTW, SSOW and LOTO safety processes
• Plan system breakdowns for piping and cabling
• Coordinate and manage issue and punch lists for timely closure
• Work with CRAC/CRAH/fan-wall systems and air/liquid cooling facility principles
• Oversee CDU/FCU, VRV/VRF systems and related controls
• Coordinate sprinkler and LSS systems and BMS/BAS integrations

• Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent
• Multiple years of direct MEP commissioning/commissioning management experience
• Data center experience
• Ability to identify and quantify completion risks
• Strong commercial and business acumen
• Clear written and verbal communication in German and English
