Commissioning Manager (CxM) - Data Centre Construction

As Data Centre Commissioning Manager, you will lead end-to-end commissioning for EMEA data center projects, ensuring electrical, mechanical, and ICT systems are tested, verified, and delivered to operational readiness. You collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure commissioning-readiness and oversee FATs, SATs, and IST on behalf of the client. The role focuses on reliability, safety, and handover quality across hyperscale or colocation facilities. You play a pivotal part in shaping commissioning standards and continuous improvement across sites.

• Define commissioning strategy, scope, schedule, and methodology across multiple projects
• Oversee commissioning of major building systems (Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Security/ICT)
• Witness/validate FATs, SATs, IST and maintain test documentation
• Coordinate with design, construction, and third-party commissioning agents
• Manage punch lists, non-conformances, and knowledge transfer to operations
• Represent client in governance meetings and sign-off milestones
• Support operational readiness and handover documentation
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement across the program

• 10+ years in commissioning or construction management in mission-critical facilities
• Deep expertise in electrical and mechanical systems design, installation, and testing
• Experience with control systems (SCADA, BMS, EPMS) and DCIM integration
• Understanding of redundancy principles (N+1, 2N) and critical path sequencing
• Familiarity with commissioning documentation standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing representation
• Proven experience in FAT/SAT/IST and integrated testing
