Compliance Attorney (On-site, Hybrid or Remote) (CA Licensed) (Fully Remote)

• We are seeking a Compliance Attorney to lead regulatory compliance, focusing on client trust account oversight and adherence to California Rules of Professional Conduct.
• This role is critical to protecting the firm's license and reputation as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee compliance with Rule 1.15 and trust accounting, including three-way reconciliations and internal controls.
• Develop and maintain firm-wide compliance policies, training materials, and conduct periodic audits.
• Monitor conflicts-of-interest, data privacy, and regulatory changes, and liaise with ethics counsel.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in the State Bar of California.
• 1-5 years of experience in legal ethics, regulatory compliance, or law firm risk management.
• Strong knowledge of California Rules of Professional Conduct and trust account practices.

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time position available onsite, hybrid, or remote, based in California.
• Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
