Menck is looking for a full-time and permanent Compliance Counsel (m/w/d) based at their facility in Kaltenkirchen, Germany or in the Netherlands or in the UK. Duties/Responsibilities • Lead and maintain the company’s compliance programme. • Assess compliance risks and implement mitigation measures. • Oversee data privacy, third-party risk, and supply chain compliance. • Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and controls. • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure business compliance. • Conduct compliance risk assessments, audits, and reviews. • Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives. • Provide practical legal and compliance advice to stakeholders. • Support investigations, due diligence, and incident response activities. • Promote a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and continuous improvement. Requirements • Master's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification. • Minimum 4 years' experience in Compliance, Legal, or a similar role. • Knowledge of compliance, ethics, data privacy, competition law, or third-party risk management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Ability to translate complex legal topics into practical business solutions. • Proven project management and implementation experience. • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment. • Experience working in international and multicultural environments. • Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.
