Compliance & Operational Risk Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the team in identifying, analyzing and assessing operational risks
• Further develop the internal control and risk management system
• Document regulatory requirements and maintain related processes
• Prepare analyses, reports and decision-making materials
• Participate in internal projects to optimize processes and control mechanisms
• Collaborate with various business units and provide support on regulatory questions
• Assist with audits and the implementation of statutory and supervisory requirements

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship in banking or a degree in economics/business administration
• Initial professional experience or relevant internships in compliance, risk management, internal audit, operations or banking are a plus
• Interest in regulatory topics and supervisory requirements
• Enjoy data analysis and methodical handling of complex issues
• High attention to detail and enjoyment of careful, precise work
• Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
• Proficient use of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Good German and English skills
