Compliance Specialist, Trade Compliance

Responsibilities

• You review and clear shipments containing controlled goods and sensitive end‑uses
• You handle screening and compliance hits
• You manage complex cases such as weapons, armaments and embargoed transports
• You ensure compliance with international regulations as well as EU and authority requirements (e.g., BAFA)
• You support our operational teams with technical questions and act as a point of contact for stakeholders
• You analyze data from the internal control system and derive corrective actions
• You evaluate KPI data and conduct self‑assessments
• You develop training concepts and deliver trainings and webinars
• You create and maintain work instructions and employee communications
• You support tender management

Requirements

• Vocational training in forwarding and logistics services or a comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge of export control
• Analytical thinking and solution‑oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and service‑and customer‑oriented approach
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Independent and structured working style
