Concept / VisDev Artist (Animation)

What you’ll do

• Develop visual concepts for animated projects: characters, environments, and key moods
• Design characters — from exploration sketches to turnarounds and expression sheets
• Create background art that defines the world, lighting, and atmosphere
• Build style frames that set the artistic direction for the team
• Work closely with the creative director and animation team, iterate fast
• Experiment with AI-assisted workflows where they add speed or quality

What we’re looking for

• Strong portfolio in character design and/or environment art for animation — this matters more than your CV
• Solid foundation in composition, color, lighting, and anatomy
• Flexibility across visual styles
• Photoshop, Procreate, or equivalent; 3D tools are a plus
• Understanding of animation pipelines
• Curiosity about generative AI tools — openness matters more than expertise
