Join us as a Configuration and Integration Manager (all genders) in our System Mobility team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!
The Configuration and Integration Manager is responsible for defining, managing, and consolidating the software integration landscape as well as system and software configurations within the overall L4 project. The role ensures that all involved ECUs, high‑performance computing platforms, software releases, sensors, AI/perception components, variants, interfaces, and integration states remain consistent, traceable, and release‑ready throughout the development lifecycle.
What you will do
- Define and maintain the L4 software integration landscape across all relevant ECUs and HPC platforms
- Create and manage project configurations, variants, and software release baselines
- Coordinate with development, AI/perception teams, architecture, integration, testing, and suppliers
- Ensure consistency between requirements, software versions, sensor setups, and vehicle configurations
- Manage change control processes and configuration approvals
- Support integration, simulation, and validation activities
- Analyze and track configuration deviations and integration conflicts
- Prepare project status reports and maturity assessments
- Support SOP and release management activities
- Collaborate within international and cross‑functional project teams
What will help you to fulfill your role
Professional Experience
- Extensive professional experience in the automotive or autonomous driving industry
- Several years of experience in highly automated or autonomous driving projects
- Proven experience managing complex software and system integration environments
- Experience working in OEM or Tier‑1 supplier projects
- Strong background in automotive series development processes and safety‑critical systems
- Shape the technical project management framework for next‑generation vehicles.
- Introduce scalable processes, methods, and tools.
- Drive lessons learned and organizational maturity.
Required Technical Skills
- Configuration Management in Automotive / Autonomous Driving: Proven experience in software, system, and variant configuration management within complex E/E architectures
- Robotaxi / Autonomous Driving (L4) Expertise: Strong understanding of sensor systems (LiDAR, radar, camera), perception, localization, and planning systems
- Tools & Processes: Hands‑on experience with tools such as Polarion, DOORS, Jira, Git/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Vector tools, or comparable environments
- Release & Change Management Experience: Release processes, baseline management, and change control procedures
- E/E Architecture & Interface Understanding: Knowledge of vehicle networks, middleware, HPC architectures, and software/sensor dependencies
