Theproject is planning the expansion of the existing Hamburg Refinery, by addingthe following process units and facilities: HVO Unit, pre-treatment Unit,tank farm balance (tanks partially supplied by others), interconnectinglines, new electrical substation and rack room, interconnecting cablesbetween new substation building and existing substation and control room.

Piping Superintendent is appointed for majorprojects. He will take responsibility for the coordination of MechanicalConstruction for piping activities through the Construction Piping Supervisor(PIS).

Duties and responsibilities

• He has directresponsibility on management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s) for piping.
• He will ensure that theirperformances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality andcost, and he will coordinate all necessary recovery actions wheneverdetect deviation from schedule or specifications under the guidance ofConstruction manager.
• He ensures theimplementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas oractivities (subcontractors) of responsibilities;
• He directly participates tothe HSE activities at site as defined for his position in the Site HSEplan and related procedures.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

Minimum 15 years’ experience as a PipingSuperintendent.

Relevantexperience in 3 major EPC projects; oil & gas, petrochemical sector.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communicationsand interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail,management skills.
• Team-oriented skills,self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timelyperformance and problem resolution.

Compensation

Forthis position, the starting gross annual salary, paid for monthlyinstallments, will be no less than € 92.000

Theoverall compensation package will be governed by company policies andapplicable agreements, including any provisions related to benefits andvariable components in compliance with the Group standards.
