Consultant - Capital Excellence

In this role you join McKinsey’s two-year Operations Excellence Program to solve client problems across industries. You will work on engagements, shape hypotheses, design analyses, and present actionable recommendations while being coached and trained through a structured capability-building program. You’ll rotate through opportunities in operations and capital excellence, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to client impact. The role blends strategic thinking with practical execution in a cross-functional, global context, with a clear path to senior expertise.

• Identify issues and form hypotheses to guide client work
• Design and conduct analyses to inform recommendations

• Master’s degree with exceptional academics
• Initial experience in capital excellence topics (capital projects, capital management systems, real estate, infrastructure, construction)
• Proven leadership in work or extracurriculars
• Willingness and ability to take on European assignments during the work week
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills in English and local office language
