The functional role is to advise on the conception, migration, and implementation of cloud-based applications. The tasks range from consulting in cloud assessments to the implementation of migrations to the cloud and the architecture of Cloud First. As part of the project initiation, this also includes participation in the offer design. You design sustainable IT solutions, driving innovation and digital transformation.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Consulting and conceptual design of customized cloud solutions including all current technologies and providers (private/public/hybrid cloud) as well as systems management and IT automation
• Support for project management within cloud projects
• Integrate cloud technologies into customers' enterprise IT environment
• Direct contact and supporter for sales
• The architecture of complex (hybrid) cloud environments according to customer requirements
• Analysis of technical customer requirements in existing or new environments
• Participation in sales/presales appointments
• Creation and presentation of the developed concepts
• Professional participation and support in the preparation of the quotation

Desired Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 4-5 years of working experience in a similar position.
• Experience with at least three current cloud technologies (AWS, MS Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, VMware, etc.)
• Experience with DevOps solutions, security, and network knowledge.
• Verifiable knowledge of virtualization technologies
• A good overview of container technologies.
• Good know-how in object-oriented programming, software architectures, and design patterns.
• Very good analytical and communication skills
• Goal-oriented, responsible, and self-initiative work
• Knowledge in the area of cross-platform monitoring, management, and orchestration tools
• Experience in IT landscapes of large companies
• Experience in creating documentation, presentations, and concepts
• Presales skills are an added advantage. Ability to translate business requirements into a customer solution.
• Team player and a high level of creativity.
• Proficient English language knowledge. The German language is an added advantage.
