Consultant Liability (m/f/d)*

In this role you assess and manage complex liability risks for global corporations. You will support risk selection, pricing and risk-management activities, collaborating with underwriters and cedents. You’ll monitor emerging trends, develop and improve services, and contribute to international seminars and publications. You help clients enhance risk management through site visits and recommendations, shaping Munich Re’s expertise in liability risk consulting.

• Assess complex liability risks and support evaluation and management for different cover types
• Evaluate cedents’ risk-management activities, including participating in audits
• Screen developments in relevant fields to detect trends and emerging risks
• Improve and adapt services in line with client needs and environment
• Speak or present at international seminars, meetings, and contribute to publications/workgroups
• Conduct site inspections or meetings to develop recommendations for risk improvement

• University degree in an engineering or natural science discipline
• More than 5 years of work experience in the assessment of liability risks
• Outstanding analytical skills and ability to learn quickly
• Affinity for legal topics; good judgment
• Business-fluent English and German; additional languages advantageous
• High service orientation and intercultural skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel
