Consulting Associate (European Competition practice) - m/f/d

In this entry-level role, you join CRA’s European Competition practice to support high-profile competition cases across Europe. You will work with senior experts to develop analyses, economic models, and client-ready deliverables. You’ll explain complex concepts to non-experts and contribute to practice-building initiatives. • Conduct analyses and gather evidence to support expert opinions and recommendations
• Perform regression analyses in Stata, Python, or R, including large data projects with cloud computing
• Build tailored economic models to address specific issues
• Support development and presentation of client deliverables (expert reports, white papers)
• Interact with clients and communicate economic concepts clearly
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of analyses and opinions
• Participate in practice-building activities (training, recruiting, publications, knowledge sharing)

• Master of Economics from a well-regarded institution
• Fluency in English; additional languages advantageous
• At least 6 months of relevant work experience in economic consulting or with a competition authority
• Strong numeracy and familiarity with econometric techniques
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Excellent time management and prioritization
• Clear interest in economic consulting demonstrated through coursework or experience
