Contract & Claim Manager (m/f/d) | Capital Investment Projects – with salary details

As a Contract & Claim Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for negotiating, managing and enforcing contracts, while mitigating risks in investment projects worldwide.

In addition to our diverse benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary between €104,800/year and €127,100/year (full time) plus a variable component for a full-time position. The starting salary is based on your qualifications and professional experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead Contract & Claim Management (CCM) for projects up to €50 million
• Develop and implement effective contract and claim management strategies
• Analyze, review and ensure contract compliance throughout all project phases
• Process legitimate claims while defending against unjustified demands
• Manage Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents and support contract negotiations
• Collaborate with auditors, engineers, legal advisors and project teams
• Conduct contract reviews, trainings, and workshops
• Implement structured risk and opportunity assessment processes
• Oversee and coordinate dispute resolution and change order management
• Prepare and maintain professional contractual documentation and correspondence

Your Profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with legal/contractual qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in contract and claim management (construction/engineering)
• Hands‑on experience in industrial or plant construction, preferably in large‑scale international projects
• Proven expertise in contract execution and claims managementStrong communication and negotiation skills in complex environments
• Willingness to travel internationally for short‑ and long‑term assignments
• Fluent in English and German (additional languages are a plus)
